lil’ saints is the kids ministry of saints Church Melbourne for children aged 1 years old to Grade 6.

At lil’ saints, our mission is to create a safe and fun environment for kids to come and learn about Jesus. We believe that a strong foundation in the Word of God and an understanding of who God has created our kids to be will set them up for the years ahead. Our hope is that the seeds of faith and truth sown into their hearts and minds in lil’ saints will produce fruit in their lives now, and in the future.

Preschool
Room

1 - 4 Years

The lil’ saints Preschool room is a welcoming and safe environment for children aged 1-4.

Free play is encouraged to develop their social skills and for them to have fun!

The lil’ saints will also experience a time of structured activities designed to teach them the Bible through song, story time and creative activities.

Primary
Room

Prep to Grade 6

The lil’ saints Primary room is a welcoming and safe environment for children in Grade Prep to Grade 6.

Our program is tailored to keep kids engaged and having fun.

The lil’ saints begin by coming into the main service and engaging in corporate praise and worship.

They will then hear a bible-based message designed specifically for their age group with games and creative activities to help unpack and teach them the Bible.

Our check-in
process

Our check in desk is located in the foyer of the church – accessible via stairs and elevator (press B)

Our friendly team will help you register your child, print their name tag and your parent tag.

The number on your child’s name tag and the number on your parent tag will match. During check out, our leaders will ask to see your parent tag before releasing your child to you.

Pre-school parents & carers – At check in you will be given a buzzer – in the event we need to contact you during the service, we’ll send a vibration to notify you. Please keep it in your pocket during the service.

Once your child is checked in and has their name tag attached – our team will direct you to their age-appropriate room.

lil’ saints check in opens 30 minutes before each service.

FAQs

Come over to our kids check-in desk where our team will help you register your child and direct you to their age-appropriate room. To register your child, we will take down their name, D.O.B and allergies, as well as your name and mobile, should we need to contact you.

Our kids check-in desk is located in the church foyer. You can access via the main stairs or use the lifts (press B). Our welcome team can also help direct you there.

Yes, all of our volunteers at saints church have current working with children’s checks.

Please let our team know at check-in, so we can write a note on your child’s profile and notify relevant team members. We encourage you to also let the room leader know. Please know that your child’s health and safety is of the utmost importance to us.

You will be able to walk your child to their age-appropriate room where you can enter the room and settle them in, but we ask that you only stay for a maximum of 5 minutes. If you still don’t feel comfortable leaving or your child hasn’t yet settled after 5 minutes, you can take your child into the service or to our Parent’s Room located in the auditorium. Feel free to come back during the service and try again – our team will happily work with you and your child to help integrate them into the room.
