“They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor. They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities.”

Since planting in 2020 we have had a dream in our hearts for a permanent home for our church in Melbourne. We wanted to put a stake in the ground and declare that we are here to stay.
This dream led us to pray and seek God’s wisdom on stewarding our finances, so we’d be ready when the opportunity came. For four years, we faithfully budgeted with a surplus, aligning our actions with our prayers – and now, God has done it.
IN 2024, GOD DID IT. HE OPENED THE DOOR FOR US TO MOVE INTO IVANHOE, AND WE WERE READY.
Now in 2026…
We are believing to raise funds to further expand and partner with what God has begun.
We have a vision to expand the ministry as our congregation grows and continue to reach people in Ivanhoe, in Melbourne and beyond with the gospel. We are wanting to spread this impact across 3 main areas:
Mission:
- Further extending our partnership with local Melbourne organisation Open House to support those in need and the most vulnerable in our local community.
- Funding our community playgroup to reach even more people in the community – utilising this space to serve the local community.
- Partnering with and funding Destiny Rescue to see precious children rescued from abuse, trafficking and slavery.
- Partnering with Compassion International to plant churches and fund specific humanitarian aid projects that directly impact the quality of life for some of the poorest and disadvantaged.
Kingdom:
- Supporting a new church plant in Melbourne to launch and expand.
- Continuing and increase city-wide united prayer events amongst pastors and leaders in Melbourne.
- Continuing to host and facilitate Equip Nights to equip the body of Christ.
- Building discipleship infrastructure behind the scenes (courses, ministry training, support) in anticipation for a harvest of salvations.
- Continue to make our building available to other church and para-church ministries that reach and impact our city.
Legacy:
- We are believing to pay $250K off the principal of the Ivanhoe loan with eh long term goal of owing this land and building outright.
- Improving the current facilities through further soundproofing throughout the building, upgrading cafe facilities and miscellaneous smaller building completion projects.
- Exterior building refresh, paint and restoration.
- Attend to various roof repair and waterproofing requirements.
- Strengthening our children’s ministry by expanding the kids facilities to include an outdoor, fenced playground and activity area.
Thankful, but stirred.
WE ARE THANKFUL—
For the lives that have found community, freedom and healing in Jesus.
For the Spirit of God moving in our kids and young people as they discover their identity in Christ.
BUT WE ARE STIRRED—
Because there are still many who have not encountered Jesus.
Because we are not called to comfort, to shrink back or to rest on past miracles or moves of God.
When they heard about this, they mocked us and ridiculed us,
Saying, "What is this you are doing?" so I answered them and said,
"The god of heaven is the one who will grant us success.
We, his servants, will start rebuilding."

We have a large task ahead of us, but we choose to trust God
and take the posture of Caleb and Joshua:
“See, the Lord your God has given you the land. Go up and take possession of it as the Lord, the God of your ancestors, told you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” - Deuteronomy 1:21
