What does
this mean?
What an incredible decision you have made! The Salvation Prayer is the most powerful prayer you’ll pray in your lifetime. The Bible tells us that after praying that prayer we become a New Creation.
Where to now?
Start by telling someone about the decision you recently made. We would love to help you where we can on this journey. Also, come back to church each week. The Bible says that when we as a church gather together, He is there. Walking out your faith and relationship with Jesus is best done in community and we would love to support you in anyway we can!

Baptism
Baptism is a symbol of your new life as a Christian. We bury the ‘old life’ and we rise to walk in a ‘new life’.
What is Baptism?
It is a symbol of Christ’s burial and resurrection. Our entrance into the water during baptism identifies us with Christ’s death on the cross, His burial in the tomb, and His resurrection from the dead.
Why be water baptised?
To follow Christ’s example Jesus himself was baptised. He was not a sinner, yet he humbled himself in obedience to identify with us and give us an example to follow.
“At that time Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptised by John in the Jordan.” – Mark 1:9
Baptism shows you are a believer. Baptism declares that you are a follower of Jesus Christ. It is a public confession of your faith in, and commitment to, Jesus Christ. It is the next step after salvation through repentance and faith and is an important foundation for the Christian life.
“Whoever believes and is baptised will be saved . . .” – Mark 16:16
“Repent and be baptised, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins.” – Acts 2:38
